Soft Rope Halter

Our ¼” rope halters are a must have for all horse owners and trainers. These halters are made with our soft double braid polyester rope,  a true Fidor knot and have no hardware to break. These halters are strong yet soft and small enough to leave under your bridle, stuff in your pocket or pack in your saddle bag.  We can also make them with 4 knots on the nose band (except for the foal and weanling size).  

All of our products are tied and spliced in the USA from rope that is manufactured in the USA as well.  We take pride in knowing that we use the best type of rope for equestrian use. We use 100% double braid polyester rope which is also what all the top trainers and clinicians use.  Please see "About Our Rope" page for more details about our quality polyester rope.

    Best rope halters and lead ropes I've ever seen !

    I like soft rope halters and these are the best. You can select the number of knots which add to your "correction" or level of "control" in a mild way. They are pliable and easy to tie and just the best in every way. A large selection of fun colors to choose from too . The lead ropes are the highest quality. I just wish they had the clip style I like in a white colored metal instead of only in a brass colored metal. But you've got options there too.... Owner of company is quick and responsive and generous. I ordered 2 halters for my mules about 6 months ago and just ordered a 3rd for my horse. Each one has their own colors !

    Amazing quality and quick turn around time! Plus, I've been searching high and low for a Navy soft rope halter and have been searching for a while. so glad i found Big Sky Tack! Super quality and super reasonable price!

    This halter is very well made, I like it very much. I use this halter as my bridle. Fits my Quarter Horse just perfect.
